Being behind part 2

Here is the last of my pics from the time I got behind. I hope to be more on top of things, but I am realizing that posting everyday is unlikely! I am going to keep shooting for it, but weekly is probably more realistic.

Here are my hubby and son at the local school.

Here is my son at the playground.

Here is my son and his best friend.

OK, OK I know I am so far behind! Part 1

Here are some photos that I have taken the past two weeks. I'll admit that I have not taken out my camera every single day. But I am hoping for quality to win over quantity here! (I hope!!)

Again, I am playing around with perspective for fun.
I was trying to play with depth of field in the next two shots. I am disappointed because the photos are not as sharp as I would have hoped. It was sooooooo windy that there was no way to get shots when the flowers were not being blown around!

This was my son doing his "silly dance!"

These were taken at a local park. There is a little lake and parts of it are frozen over.
These are shots I tried to take of unusual things to play a little with exposure and framing.

Feb 1st

Just playing around with perspective.

Jan 31st

It was an absolutely gorgeous day today. DH and I took DS to the park. While they played I got down to business with my camera! I LOVE this shot I got. In fact I love several of the shots I took. I think I am beginning to get a better feel for all of this camera stuff!

Jan 27-29th

One of the things that we covered in my photography class was composition. I realized that all of the pics I take are of people and I need to shake things up a bit. Here is a series of photos of "stuff" in my house.

Jan 27- the little fountain in our entryway

Jan 28th-Our chandelier in our entry, I hate it so much!

Jan 29th-A basket of potpourri balls on the bookshelves in the living room.
